Penalties for breaching licence terms
APAD may take any of the following actions when an operator breaches the conditions of its licence or the Land Public Transport Act 2010:
- Suspension of the operator licence
- Cancellation (revocation) of the licence
- Restriction on new licence applications by the same applicant
- Statutory penalties (fines, court action) under Act 715
The exact action depends on the severity of the breach and the operator's prior compliance record.
